Time. An entity that chips away at your life and potential, steadily and assuredly, indifferent to your desires, it arrows forwards mockingly while your skills and creativity dull and demonise against its unchanging pace.
My ambitions punctuated by periods of stasis, non movement that was essential to regroup my mind. Taking a break from life, stripping one thing after another until it’s just me and my basic needs, photography, writing, some family and friends.
From this we have agency again, able to rebuild and reform from the crumbs left by the corroding essence of time.
