Hi, I’m Monet Goode.

Mehmet Emin Hassan sharpened his skills in architectural and street photography, capturing London life unguarded and explores architecture as liminal, humanist spaces that evoke deep rooted emotions.

Self-taught, Mehmet's photography was inspired by his father, who was "forever behind the lens, when I was old enough, he gave me the family camera. Photography has been in my life ever since."

“I find street photography intoxicating, a place where I lose myself, the only thought crossing my mind is the patterns of people crossing my path. When I'm shooting on the streets I am constantly scanning, watching and anticipating the movements of the crowd ready to fire off my shutter.

“I am a detail orientated person, always looking to build narratives throughout my work.

“I don't pretend that what I shoot is the full story, my photography is a construct of my mind."

Currently, Mehmet is exhibiting three prints from his Abandon series at the Cypriot High Commission in London, Piccadilly.
